Fourth “Laudato si’ Coffee at 11” Held

The fourth Laudato si’ Coffee at 11 was held, bringing together students and staff of the Catholic University of Croatia to continue reflecting on the messages of Pope Francis’ encyclical Laudato si’.

The central theme of the meeting was the concept of an integral lifestyle, which connects care for the environment with care for those in need as key dimensions of contemporary living. The lecture on this topic was delivered by Assist. Prof. Miriam Mary Brgles, PhD, from the University Department of Sociology. Through open discussion, participants addressed questions related to the lifestyles of young people and the challenges of living moderation and responsibility in today’s society.

Particular emphasis was placed on understanding lifestyle as a relational good that goes beyond individual choices and is oriented toward the common good, where the individual becomes one who lives out of concern for others.
