Erasmus+ Mobility of Assistant Paula Zujić at the Catholic University of Portugal in Lisbon
Paula Zujić, Assistant at the University Department of Sociology of the Catholic University of Croatia, participated in an Erasmus+ staff mobility for training at the Catholic University of Portugal. During her stay, she worked on the further development of her doctoral research, focusing in particular on selected methodological and theoretical issues related to religiosity.
As part of the mobility, she was hosted at the Centre for Research in Theology and Religious Studies (CITER), where her host was Alex Villas Boas, professor and principal investigator of the Centre. She held a series of working meetings with faculty members and researchers, including José Coutinho, Teresa Messias, and Sónia da Silva Monteiro. Professor José Coutinho also played a key role in organising and coordinating the meetings during her stay.
During these meetings, she presented the University and her doctoral research to date, receiving valuable feedback and concrete suggestions to support her further work. New professional contacts were established, and additional meetings with other researchers were arranged to continue in an online format.
The mobility also facilitated networking between scholars and faculty members from both institutions, opening up opportunities for future collaboration. The knowledge and contacts gained will contribute not only to the continuation of her doctoral research but also to potential joint research activities in the field of the sociology of religion.
