Dr Anamaria Malešević Participated in Erasmus+ Mobility at TalTech
Senior Teaching Assistant Dr Anamaria Malešević from the Laboratory for Ethics of Digital Technologies in Healthcare (Digit-HeaL) stayed at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) from 4 to 12 December 2025 as part of the Erasmus+ mobility programme. TalTech is one of the leading universities in the Baltic region and is highly international, with students from more than 100 countries. It is particularly recognised for the implementation of smart digital solutions in education and research, which makes the entire university campus one of the smartest in the world.

During her stay, Dr Malešević collaborated with Assoc. Prof. Dr Anu Masso, Head of the Data Lab, as well as with researchers from this research unit. The Data Lab brings together an interdisciplinary research team that explores the interconnections between digital data and society across various domains. As part of the mobility programme, members of the research team presented their ongoing research and introduced Dr Malešević to innovative research methods they use, which she will be able to apply in her future work.

Dr Malešević also visited the Eye-Tracking Lab, the Legal Lab, and the Ragnar Nurkse Department of Innovation and Governance, where she had the opportunity to speak with experts from different fields with the aim of establishing future collaborations and research plans. In addition, she participated in a doctoral seminar and held discussions with doctoral and postdoctoral researchers at the Ragnar Nurkse Department.

TalTech is also home to the Center of Digital Health, the largest research and educational centre for digital health in Estonia, focused on the development of IT solutions and the study of factors necessary for successful implementation. The Head of the Centre, Dr Kadi Lubi, met with Dr Malešević, and during their meeting they exchanged perspectives on the digitalisation of healthcare in Croatia and Estonia, and discussed potential future collaborations and research initiatives.
