Cooperation Agreement between the Croatian Competition Agency and the Catholic University of Croatia

On Wednesday, 28 January 2026, the Catholic University of Croatia (CUC) was visited by a delegation of the Croatian Competition Agency (AZTN) consisting of Dr Mirta Kapural, President of the Competition Council; Ms Tatjana Jakovljević, Senior Advisor in the Communications Department; and Mr Tadija Kristić, Senior Advisor in the Department for Digital Affairs, Forensics and IT.
 

On this occasion, a meeting was held and a Cooperation Agreement between the two institutions was signed. The Catholic University of Croatia was represented by Prof. Željko Tanjić, PhD, Rector of CUC; Assoc. Prof. Kristian Turkalj, PhD, Dean of the Faculty of Law of CUC; Dr Suzana Obrovac Lipar, Head of the Office for Public Relations and Event Management; Ms Iva Mikulandra Barkiđija, Head of the Dean’s Office of the Faculty of Law; and Ms Ema Elizabeta Pokupec, Associate from the Department of Legal and Human Resources Affairs.

During the visit, the University and its key activities were presented, and the modalities for implementing the signed agreement were discussed. A strong emphasis within the Agreement is placed on student internships, enabling students to gain insight into the work of the Croatian Competition Agency, as well as on educational activities, including guest lectures by Agency staff for CUC students.
