Croatian Science Foundation presented new project tenders to CUC scientists

On Monday, February 3, 2025, in the "Bl. Alojzije Card. Stepinac" hall, representatives of the Croatian Science Foundation (HRZZ) presented new HRZZ research and establishment research projects and DOK tenders - career development projects for young researchers - training of new doctors of science for the year 2025.

Tenders for IP projects were presented, the goals of which are to strengthen scientific excellence, realize social and economic value from new knowledge, strengthen research groups, encourage networking and cooperation of research groups, involve and guide researchers in the early stages of career development in the implementation of research projects, and encourage open science and research integrity, the development of a positive research culture.

The projects are realized through the Weave initiative, which means a simplified application procedure and selection of joint project proposals in which researchers from up to three European countries or regions participate, so that a single evaluation is carried out. In practice, scientists mutually choose a coordinator, i.e. applicant who submits a project proposal to the appropriate organization in their country or region that participates in the Weave initiative, which in Croatia is HRZZ.
