CUC studies presented in Virovitica Catholic high school

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, our teachers and students traveled to Virovitica, where they presented our University, study programs and held educational lectures and workshops to the public at the Catholic Classical High School.

Veronika Novoselac, assistant at the University's Department of History, gave a lecture "From carrier pigeon to influencer" to the gathered students of the third and fourth grades, focused on the history and development of media and communication.

Vesna Mioč, a senior lecturer from the University Department of Nursing, held a lecture "Healthy nutrition - fuel for learning and sports" in which she conveyed scientific knowledge that shows how the quality of nutrition affects the health of the body and brain and how it affects the quality of learning.

Psychology students Nika Zuber and Ema Ištvanović Parezanović held a lecture and workshop "Just another story about stress or something new" in which they explained stress to students, dealing with it and gave practical advice on how to deal with stress.
