Associate Professor Turza at the COST Action meeting

Assoc. prof. Zoran Turza, PhD, participated in the meeting of the second working group within the COST Action CA22156 "Transformations International Experience and Research Network for Sustainable Futures" (TransformERS), held on September 24 and 25, 2024 in Vienna. On the first day, a workshop and a poster section were held, in which works on the topic of urban transformations were presented. Professor Turza presented a poster entitled "Transformation/Development of Theological Concepts Behind the Climate Neutrality Plan of the Vatican City", in which he detailed the evolution of theological concepts and the Church's doctrine of responsibility for creation, and presented the strategic plan of the Vatican's energy transformation towards climate neutrality .

The second day was dedicated to a professionally guided tour of the city of Vienna, with an emphasis on the historical and contemporary urban transformation of the city. During his stay in Vienna, Professor Turza also held a meeting with Prof. Andreas Telser, a member of the research team at the Research Center "Religion and Transformation in Contemporary Society" at the University of Vienna, where the possibilities of further cooperation were discussed, especially in the context of joint summer schools within the Erasmus+ program.
