CASCADE

The CASCADE project explores how cognitive skills and social abilities develop from adolescence to adulthood. It focuses on cognitive control – the ability to regulate thoughts, emotions, and behaviour – and social cognition, which refers to understanding other people's thoughts, emotions, and perspectives.

The project aims to better understand the changes that occur during adolescence and early adulthood and how these changes influence everyday functioning. Its findings will contribute to a deeper understanding of this important developmental period and provide a scientific foundation for the development of educational and preventive approaches that support young people.
