CUC'S Day of Open Doors

On Thursday, March 20, 2025, the Open Doors Day of the Catholic University of Croatia was held, at which our University opened the doors of its Campus, lecture halls, libraries, laboratories, studios and other teaching complexes to graduates of Croatian high schools and gymnasiums.

Under the umbrella idea of ​​"Students for Graduates", colleagues from the studies of history, sociology, psychology, communication studies, medicine and nursing presented our courses to interested graduates, and they were joined by representatives of two new study courses that will start this fall - law and computing for social applications. Our students, over coffee, shared their own experience of studying at CUC with the graduates, important information about enrollment, and details about the numerous practical parts that will accompany the theory in CUC's studies.

Around 550 graduates took part in six organised tours of the CUC Campus and had the opportunity to see the lecture halls of buildings B, C and D, the newly renovated and recently opened University Library, which covers an area of ​​2400 m² with more than 200 seats, the CUC Great Hall with 473 seats where the biggest events of our University are held, a radio and television studio equipped with the most modern equipment for the production of professional audio-visual reports/shows, editing rooms, a Psychological Research Laboratory for conducting focus groups, in-depth interviews and all types of qualitative and quantitative research, laboratories for the needs of biomedical sciences, a Skills Cabinet equipped with numerous modern equipment for the needs of the nursing and medical professions, the most technologically advanced anatomical 3D visualization system Anatomage and the University Chapel.
