Professor Bara at the COMECE meeting and the conference "The Future of Hope" in Brussels

Assoc. Prof. Mario Bara, pHd, from the University Department of Sociology participated on November 19, 2024 in Brussels with the presentation "Public Policies and Migration: Pathways of Hope for Europe" at the closed working meeting "Visions of Hope for Europe and beyond" organized by the European University in Rome (Università Europea di Roma - UER) and the Council of Bishops' Conferences of the European Union (Commission of the Bishops' Conferences of the European Union - COMECE).

At the meeting, with the participation of members of the European Parliament, the main topics affecting the current geopolitical and socio-economic situation in Europe were discussed. The aim of the meeting was to create a space for the exchange of ideas between EU policy-makers and researchers from the academic community in order to stimulate discussions about the future of Europe, which stems from the concept of hope.

In the period from November 20 to 21, 2024, Assoc. prof. Mario Bara, pHd, participated in the international scientific conference "The Future of Hope: An Interdisciplinary Dialogue" in Brussels with the presentation "University - innovation and intellectual property". The conference was organized by the Università Europea di Roma (UER).
