From November 12 to 15, 2024, Assist. prof. Ivica Matić, PhD, participated in the Apprenticeship Mobility in Europe seminar that took place in Bordeaux, France.

The goal of this event was to improve mobility through the exchange of experiences and the strengthening of international cooperation. As a participant in the seminar, prof. Matić, at the same time representing the Vocational Education Working Group of the Agency for Mobility and EU Programs, participated in the inaugural conference and plenary sessions where key challenges and best practices in the organization of mobility were discussed, interactive workshops aimed at developing partnerships and exploring new opportunities for mobility, and a visit to the CFAI de Bruges, a center for practical training, which highlighted innovative models for the integration of trainees into the work environment.

At the meeting of VET experts, prof. Matić presented the Working Group for Vocational Education and presented proposals for future joint cooperation at the European level. The event provided numerous opportunities for networking with colleagues from all over Europe, and the contacts made will be crucial for future collaboration and projects at the University Department of Nursing.
