The University Department of Sociology takes pride in its rich scientific and professional activities, best exemplified through the implementation of various projects. In this way, the Department generates new sociological insights and contributes to society and the community through an interdisciplinary approach. Currently, the Department of Sociology is conducting three institutional projects funded by the University, as well as several international projects, among which we highlight:

In addition to these European projects, the Department is involved in significant national projects funded by the Croatian Science Foundation, the Ministry of Culture, and the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Faculty members from the Department of Sociology are also actively participating in 12 COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) actions. Through its scientific and professional activities, the Department stands out by contributing to projects of key scientific and societal importance for Croatian society.
