Brief Overview of the Program!
Academic Title: University Bachelor of History (baccalaureus/baccalaurea) of History (univ. bacc. hist.)
Duration of the Program: 6 semesters
Completion Requirements: At least 180 ECTS credits and passing all exams for the single-subject program; at least 90 ECTS credits and passing all exams for the double-subject program
In each semester, students enroll in mandatory and elective courses (at least 30 ECTS credits). To acquaint students with various areas of history, the program consists of multiple course groups, i.e., core history courses, methodological courses, and specific ones like Auxiliary Historical Sciences and Latin.
Typically, students are assessed in all courses throughout the semester through continuous knowledge checks (midterms, tests…) and various educational activities in lectures, seminars, and exercises (70% of the final grade) and the final exam (30% of the final grade). This model encourages students to learn continuously and master the course material more effectively.
